Vicki, Office Manager
I love the responsibilities that go along with running a smooth and efficient orthodontic practice. Our ortho team is always upbeat and our patients are our #1 priority. I have always been a people person—enjoying the company of our patients and thrill of making them smile. Since my arrival in 1994, I have felt a profound sense of pride knowing that I am a part of something that improves people’s lives. I have watched many of our patients grow into beautiful people, inside and out. I feel privileged to work for Dr. Nagel, a man who has been a positive influence in this community for over thirty years.
Claudia, Patient Care Coordinator
I was a patient of Dr. Nagel’s before I came to work here. In fact, his enthusiasm for orthodontia and his genuine regard for his patients initially attracted me to pursue working here professionally. Since joining the team in 2002, I have shared in the joy of creating beautiful, lasting smiles. Most of what I do is administrative—scheduling appointments and ensuring smooth patient flow—while enjoying the relational atmosphere of a family practice. First and foremost though, I am a mom and wife. So, when I am not at the office I am with my wonderful family.
Nicole, Patient Care Coordinator
When I was presented with the opportunity to work at Nagel Orthodontics with the front office staff it was an offer I could not pass up! Nagel Orthodontics provides such a fun-loving, professional work environment where patient care is the main priority making it such a different experience then when I was a child in braces. Being a part of Team Ortho really means a lot to me because it is allowing me to play a role in making YOUR orthodontic treatment memorable. When patients leave our office grinning from ear to ear with complete satisfaction, I take pride in knowing that I helped put that smile on their face! When I am not here at the office I enjoy spending time with my family and hanging out with my friends.
Lonnie, Lab Technician
I have been in this field since 1972, but I joined Team Ortho in 1988. The popularity of Dr. Nagel’s practice makes for a fun and fast-paced work environment. Personally, I enjoy the challenge of providing efficient, quality patient care. My responsibilities include pouring and finishing models, as well as making and repairing orthodontic appliances. During my free time, I ride and show AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) horses; my favorite classes are Western Horsemanship and Trail.

I have always been interested in the dental field and working here at Nagel Orthodontics has given me that opportunity. Before I moved to the U.S., I earned my bachelor’s degree in Educational Science in Iran. With this degree I worked as an elementary school teacher. When I moved to the U.S. I continued teaching as a substitute. When the job arose at Nagel Orthodontics I was very eager and excited to begin. Working here has given me a lot of great experience in the dental field. I am working on earning my RDA license and hope to have that in the near future.
I began working for Nagel Orthodontics in May 2014. I attended Bryman College and became an RDA in 1995 and have loved working in the field ever since. I began working for a general dentist and later moved to orthodontics after 5 years. I have two sons who are currently pursuing their college degrees. I enjoy hiking, walking along the beach, and traveling around the world. I’ve been married for 31 years with a loving husband. I love working with our patients and it is a pleasure to work for such wonderful doctors. I love to see all our patients leave with a bright smile.
I have been interested in the dental field ever since I can remember, and my love for orthodontics bloomed once I experienced braces for myself! My passion for orthodontics allows me to give each and every patient that walks through our door the BEST possible experience so that they may enjoy and love their smile as much as I do. When I'm not assisting chairside or cracking jokes and laughing with my patients here at Nagel orthodontics you can find me with my toes in the sand at our beautiful beaches accompanied by my dog child Fynn!
I have been in the orthodontic field since 1997. I started off as a sterilizer operator and that peaked my interest in learning to assist and create beautiful smiles, so I continued working and received my license as a registered dental assistant (RDA) in 2001. I started working for Nagel Orthodontics in March of 2016 and my experience with Drs. Norman & Jeffrey Nagel has been amazing. Nagel Orthodontics extends a warm, family friendly atmosphere not only among the staff members but with our patients as well. I admire the way both doctors approach their patients, with a smile & kindness and are always professional. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with all current & future patients, building confidence with every visit as we create not only a beautiful smile but great memories along the way. When I'm not with my work family you'll find me spending time with my 3 children. We love spending time outdoors, dining out & hitting the movies on our down time!
When I was 14 years old I walked into an orthodontic office for the very first time. I began treatment with full braces that day and from then on I became fascinated with the whole process. It was then that I realized I wanted to pursue a career in the dental field. After living and working all over the world in places such as the UK, South Africa, and Australia; I returned home and attended school to become a dental assistant. During my time in school I was fortunate enough to intern at Nagel Orthodontics. Upon completion of school and my internship I was given the wonderful opportunity to join Team Ortho! It's been such a pleasure working with the doctors, team and most of all our wonderful patients.
Sofia, Sterilization Technician
I began working at Nagel Orthodontics in October 2016 to gain work experience. I recently graduated from High School and I'm happy to say that Nagel Orthodontics is my very first job and I'm loving it! Everyone welcomed me with open arms, and I'm happy to be part of the team. Here at the office I'm in charge of the sterilization lab. I make sure that all of the instruments are ready for the assistants to utilize for our patient's. On my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog Ky as well as spending time with family & friends.
Noosha, Sterlization Technician
Dentistry has always been a passion of mine since I was younger. Starting as a patient of Dr. Nagel's and continuing as an employee, I have nothing but love for this amazing ortho team. Nagel Orthodontics provides a professional & friendly experience leaving our patients with bright, satisfied smiles. I graduated from UC Irvine in 2015 with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Management. I will be attending dental school in the Fall of 2017. I'm looking forward to seeing all of our wonderful patients during the time I'm here at Nagel Orthodontics.
